I am currently Operations Director for public-i (www.public-i.info). Public-i (and as a result Catherine!) is focused on providing practical webcasting solutions for Local Authorities and have been working with Council's in the UK since 2001.

I am also a founder and non-executive director of etribes (www.etribes.com) - a small consultancy that helps organisations build and implement online communities.

I am very interested in the way technology can change, and is changing, our civic structures - in particular the way in which video communication changes the way people accept information. Separately I am very keen on any kind of handbag sized technical gadget....if you can't carry it you probably won't use it that often....I am currently looking for ways to combine these two interests!
