Shared Bookmarks
From DoWire Wiki
A new form of collaborative information sharing is emerging online. The oddly named del.icio.us system allows us to organize and share bookmarks with ease.
How does it work?
By assigning best practices briefs and case studies (as well as sections on the DoWire blog) with unique keywords that we all use, we will be able to share our surfing discoveries in real-time.
Once you register for free with del.icio.us, simply drag the offered bookmarklets on to your "Links" bar on Internet explorer or the "Personal Toolbar" with Mozilla.
While online, when you see something that might be useful, bookmark it, describe it, and "tag" it with the appropriate unique keywords and simply "e-democracy" so it may be shared widely.
Examples
- e-government - Shared tag
- e-democracy - Shared tag
- DoWire Best Practice Bookmarks - All bookmarks from a single account
Links to all of our keywords and bookmark collections are listed on our unique keywords page.
Which Tags to Use
- e-democracy and egovernment tags - An informal exchange on folksonomy tags to use among e-democracy and e-government researchers
