Internet training for elected officials

  1. do these officials, or their assistants, do the bulk of the interaction?
  2. do these officials, or their assistants, do the bulk of the interaction?
  3. presuming elected officials' primary job is listening to constituents and negotiating on their behalf, how does the 'net serve those purposes?
  4. what should be covered in such training? what should not be covered?
  5. if elected officials spend more time online, do they lose face time with less online-saavy participants?

A participant thought training for their staff probably more important. He suggewsted also that this should be general computer use training (such as the ICDL).
