Audio-Only Webcasting

One simple way to deliver webcasts is to provide audio only. Many established public sector webcasters provide audio facilities in rooms that do not have video facilities.

Downloadable audio can be produced with very simply technology that is available on most computers. The Podcasting page provides a variety of ideas and resources on this. Streaming audio, particularly live requires a more sophisticated approach. This page and the Democaster page contains resources for streaming audio.
