Connecting on Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube

I’ve claimed a bit of space in the social networking world for those interested in e-democracy and the efforts of E-Democracy.Org. We will use these spaces to connect those active on those platforms who want to show their support for our non-partisan “local up” model of building democracy online. We also look forward to recruiting the next generation of forum managers for new Issues Forums.

I am also on Linkedin at:

Rather than brand these spaces DoWire and compete with a few other general ICT and democracy spaces, I’m keeping this site focused on the the e-mail/web DoWire Groups which seem to access institutions more deeply. (I am also terribly concerned about the privacy policies, ease with which undemocratic governments might access user information, and unknown secondary commercial use of the data we would generate using a service outside our own domain. DoWire is advertising free by choice.)

Sincerely,
Steven Clift
