E-Democracy.Org needs geek help with YouTube API ASAP
Geek Warning….
The YouTube founders may now be really really rich since Google bought them yesterday, but their site still puts out weird RSS feeds. They list the most “relevant” videos by tag and not the most recent. This is how their own sharing window displays as well.
From Voter Voices we really need to display links (or the videos themselves) to the most recent videos with the “mnpolitics” tag. Or the new content will simply not be very accessible in an automated way. Right now you see the oddly defined “most relevant” on the top (not even the most viewed.)
So can anyone help us dig into the YouTube API in the next day to turn this display of “mnpolitics” videos by date into either an RSS feed we can use or better yet a nifty YouTube display window with a “recent” or “popular” toggle.
