Project – Time to Save the Internet in the United States

I normally mention advocacy efforts from a “neutral” perspective on DoWire. Well this one is such a no-brainer, any effort that makes political or governance information potentially less accessible or chargable based on the speed of delivery is fundamentally anti-democratic. There are those who argue that putting a price on convenience or reliability (not just total bandwidth) will create a more economically “efficient” Internet. Democracy is routinely crushed in the teeth of efficiency.

So join me as we Save the Internet .

P.S. It looks like the SaveTheInternet folks could beef up their online advocacy system. Creating blog buzz and connecting that to Congressional action will take some effort. Would anyone like to comment?
